MOTHERFUCKING TUESDAY... On Steam and PS4
What's that you say?
What's GUACAMELEE?
If you are asking that question, turn on whatever gaming system you play on, buy GUACAMELEE and you can thank me later.
I will answer your question though.
GUACAMELEE is an awesome metroidvania... Maybe the best metroidvania. It's one of the few games that borrows from Mexican culture and folklore.
You play as Juan, a luchadore, that is tasked from saving his lady from the clutches of Carlos Calaca.
It's funny, it's gorgeous and colorful, and it plays smooth as butter.
The sequel is adding some awesome shit, including 4 PLAYER COOP!
I'm buying it for PS4. I can keep a list of people who are getting it and what system that are getting it on to help maybe get some 4 player coop going.

Christ. I'm old.
Is this surprise or had the release date been announced and I totally missed it?
I tried a demo for this at PAX, subsequently beat the first one, and have since been eagerly awaiting it.
@Garlic Bread informed me.
That guy has his finger on the pulse of the gaming industry though.
It's just a game I'd much rather play in handheld...
Pretty sure I bought the original 4 times.
I don't understand this opinion.
I want MORE memes.
No I just check www.metroidvanias.com too often
I know that you are actually Hideo Kojima.
I’m kind of surprised that Nintendo hasn’t shut down a site with that name/tried to copyright it like they did with “on like donkey Kong”
Nonsense, you can't trademark common words and metro, id, van, I, and as are all generic as fuck
what does that make Zubaz
Steam Switch FC: 2799-7909-4852
please do not insult my cat garbo like this
I would never knowingly compare a cat to zubaz
And your dick print is barely noticeable
Keeping my dick slanging.
Aw shit MES is such a fantastic (and, in retrospect, obvious) collab
There is no official word.
Right now they've just said they're focusing on the PC and PS4 versions
They'll probably end up doing the super hyper turbo edition for Switch and Xbone
Some areas it zooms out so far I can't even tell where I am. Then when they throw multiple giant sized enemies at you and they all walk through each other like they're not there, I lose track of my character
I just did a fight room where I thought I was on the one side of the room hitting a bunch of baddies, but I was actually on the other side getting beat up
Yeah this is maybe the only critique I have so far, is that the camera feels much more pulled back than before
It hasn't been an issue for me yet, but I have mixed feelings
I realize this can significantly increase the development effort, but I really wish games like this had separate camera scripts/ais for if you have only one player versus co-op.
