Do the badges have UV light features this year?

I'm buying a badge from someone today (found on FB), and I brought my cousin's Saturday badge to compare. I also bought a UV light, knowing that PAX badges have UV light features. I just shined it on my cousin's badge, and I didn't see any space invaders or anything of the sort. The badge just glowed. It's possible that it's the light I purchased. If I can't check for UV light features, what is the next best way to ensure the badge is not counterfeit?

Real badges have an RFID (or NFC, but pretty sure it's RFID) tag in them.

Is it PAX <insert nearest future PAX here> yet?

How do I use the RFID, or know that it's there? I've never heard of this. Thank you!!

It is an NFC tag. This is what shows up when I scan it with my phone.
