So I recently got Alice: Madness Returns The Complete Collection through GameStop which lead to me getting a redeem code from Origin.
After installing Origin and resetting the password to the EA account I had only ever used for FIFA on console, I went and installed the name and....
The activator won't connect to EA.
So I look for answers, and try anything from the reasonable (run in admin mode, let it through your firewall) to the absurdly arcane (install it on a different drive, or with a different user), and nothing I find works.
I guess I shouldn't expect more from EA but at the same time there's really no excuse for having something available to download only for it to utterly refuse to work.
Is this common for older games on Origin? Does anyone know of a workaround?
