Dead Shortcut Icons

So all of the pretty icons on my gf's computer are all the default white media player classic/blue bordered white window icons now.
I've forgotten how you fix this in windows xp sp2. :oops:

Let me see if i remember this from the last person that had this problem...

Download the tweakui powertoy and do the "rebuild icons" thing under the repairs option.

I hope this is the right advice.
