I've got Multishot, punch through, and reload speed already. Fire rate seems to help make sure it can track from target to target swiftly and reliably and I dunno what else to put in there since general damage mods aren't that useful save for status application mods.

Magazine size can help keep the flow more consistent by reducing the frequency of reloads. Also, the corrupted mod Vicious Spread is good if you have it, because the downside is actually an upside in this case. It increases spread, causing pellets to hit a wider area. That's normally bad, since it makes it harder to focus fire and hit enemies from a distance. But here it's good because it increases the likelihood that each individual pellet will hit a different enemy.

You have to put something on Nova, she is stupidly fragile. Primed vigor only takes one slot instead of two in case you want to really optimize her, I do the same thing. You could go for a super low range, maximum duration build so the neutron star particles stick around longer and give you that juicy damage reduction.

    What does Wukong... do?

His 2 is cool, and I assume you can scale 4 pretty well, but 1 and 3 seem really pointless. Is he just 'dude with a gun/stick who never dies'?

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head. He's got some uses in Arbitrations where you don't want to die, but aside from that he has been left pretty far behind with a very underwhelming exalted weapon compared to other melee/tank frames.

I'm finding a blast element works pretty well too, adding a nice 5 meter AOE on a not insignificant amount of pellets.

We did a T4 mobile defense one time, and the struns on those corpus crewmen are a lot deadlier than you'd expect a basic mook enemy to be. They're enough to oneshot a nova prime, for example. Donuts refuses to use any other matches as data points when considering my survivability.

Im not really sure how any of the fragile frames survive anything more than the first few waves of star chart stuff. Like as soon as things last long enough to react you just die.

That's generally where the right mod setups come in, though I still tend to shy away from the fragile frames myself. I love things like Nezha and Nidus. Nidus is especially fun with umbral mods and adaptation.

A lot of frames become much less fragile with good ability use. Octavia can easily become invisible. Nova has really high damage reduction from a boosted 1. Mesa is almost immune to bullets with her 3. Trinity redirects damage with her 3. For some of the others, there's Quick Thinking.

I splurged a little and bought a maxed out adaptation mod, that thing basically make you immortal so long as you dont just immediately die. I had that on oberon when i was farming DNA and i could just stand there with a bunch of crap hitting me and scan the cats.

Hmm, can Limbo scan from the void?

Been digging into Fortuna and it's mostly amazing.

Not sure how I feel about the bounties having Excavations that fail the whole chain when one gets blown up though.

That feels like it restricts what frames you can bring to a small handful to avoid getting screwed.

I'm assuming the bounties have the changes they made to the excavators at least, because they were much more annoying upon first release.

It hasn't felt that way on the PC. I've been in groups with no point defense frames and made it through each time so long as folks were good at killing things. But a number of frames definitely lose power in the open maps and folks may need some time to get used to that. Much as I love Excalibur, the travel time on his Master Sword beams makes it a lot harder to hit targets compared to the closer ranges in doors so he's suddenly not as good at wave clearing in the Vallis.

There's also the general adjustment to play and builds to account for enemies being able to pop in and shoot you from multiple directions, learning the new enemy types, etc. Fortuna bounties felt really punishing at first on PC too.

I haven't done a Venus bounty in a little bit but unless they changed something, getting an excavator blown up didn't fail the entire mission, it just prevented you from getting the bonus drop at the end for completing the entire chain, you can still get rewards for any other steps you complete. Does the entire mission now end if you get one excavator popped?

There's a bonus message that says that, but I had one blow up and it failed the whole thing earlier today.

Sounds like a bug or else they changed the missions for the worse. Even if you are soloing missions you should get 2 excavators dropped so you have a bit of a buffer if you lose just one.

For my experience, unless it's different in the higher difficulty bounties, you get one excavater when solo, and if it pops, you're done. Game over.

With more people, you get one excavater per person, but only one has to survive. Bonus if all of them do.

Granted I usually do the 2nd and 3rd level bounties. Results may differ for 1, 4, and 5.

I dunno if this is a known trick that I'm just a latecomer to or not, but it turns out Atlas is the god king shitwizard of Defense where you have to defend a target that walks around.

Of course, now that I have Garuada, the motivation to do Fortuna rep has dwindled.

And for others, we discovered last night that the cut gems required for building her are tradeable.

So if anybody has the blueprints but still need to do the rep grind for the gem recipes, feel free to hit me up and I can save you some time.

I've noticed that killing things while using Titania's 4 count as Archwing kills for the purposes of open world achievements. I'm wondering if that works for Rivens as well.

Ah, it used to be 1 excavator per person plus 1, so anywhere from 2-5 per mission depending on how full the squad was.

I recently learned that there is an official drop table here that is kept updated and gives exact drop chances for everything ever. I've found it really useful for figuring out the best places to get new relics.

Didn't see it in the OP, so I figured I should post it.

Mag has a lot of dumb tricks up her sleeve that I had no idea existed until I started pushing buttons and seeing what happened. She's a frame that gets more hilarious the more you fiddle with her and has way more tools than you think she does.

She just isn't a push button receive bacon sort of frame so I think she gets unfairly underestimated.

It seems that PoE is fully functional now. It's so weird seeing things like Grineer patrols all over the place. Drone escorts have also stopped being snoozefests.

I also went out at night and returned with 53 cores. Not quite enough to get me a better amp, but another night will easily put me over.
