I'm growing a beard. And for the first time I've made it through the initial itchy stage
But now, it's filled in, and I've got an area or two along my jawline where it's growing in thicker-longer than the surrounding area, and hair grows in a whorl and not a nice directional pattern
And it hurts! The whiskers are all tangled up and the skin and flesh underneath is sore.

@SniperGuy I burn a lot of CDs to support my a cappella chorus. Lots of old people who don’t really use the Internet or MP3s very well and insist on using physical media in their cars and homes. I make practice tracks for them. I also rip a lot of music off CDs since most of the music I listen to isn’t readily available on Streaming sites. It has enough of a use case and I already have the drive.
It definitely was an internal debate in my head. If my laptop already had a DVD-R, it would be a no-brainer.

I seem to remember having a lot of trouble finding a group to sing with between my stints at undergrad and grad school.
You play as a kitty and you make friends with other kitties and you have to hunt and forage and stuff and other kitty things and it’s the cutest game ever.

Doc Ock was on stilts, and partway through the performance accidentally fell off them, never to rise again

I have a DVD-RW drive because I had one in my last computer, and my current computer case has a door on the front, so it doesn't ruin the sleek exterior.
Also, my new desk is set up such that it's better to have the tower on the right side, which means for the first time since I built this computer, I can actually look through the window on the side when I'm sitting at my desk. Exciting!

and then the wireless internet adapter came with its drivers on a cd and it wouldn't work without loading the drivers
it was like a singular point in time when this kind of a problem could happen
