can't comment on comic from website (which prevents new thread creation on forum)

Since at least Wednesday, comments haven't been loading on the main PA website (the part where you click Show Comments under a comic). Don't think it's just me, as those comics aren't showing comments on the forum, as they would if anyone else had left a comment on them.

Looking at the javascript console, there is the following error that probably explains it:

Cross-Origin Read Blocking (CORB) blocked cross-origin response https://forums.penny-arcade.com/ with MIME type text/html. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5629709824032768 for more details.
