Nokia 6288

So, the time has come for me to get a new phone. I have seen a fair few phone topics around here recently, but I don't really feel like digging them up >_<

Anyway, I've been thinking about getting the Nokia 6288. A few friends have it, and it looks to be a decent phone.

But... I'm not sure if I want to dish out close to $600AUD for it. For those who are in Australia, I'm referring to the $29 p/month plan being offered by 3 Network (24 months). The cap is pretty reasonable, and the phone, I have to admit, is pretty cool, but it's still $600.

What are your guys experiences with this phone? Good? Bad?

I'm thinking I want to stick with Nokia, as they (from experience) make decent phones. Any other suggestions for Nokia phones? I don't use my current phone too much, but I text a fair bit, and I still manage to go through around $30AUD (give or take) per month in credit on my prepaid. I also see myself using eBay off of this phone if I get it.

TL; DR Thinking of getting a Nokia 6288. I go through around ~$30AUD (give or take) per month currently. Is it worth the almost $600AUD? What are your experiences with this phone?

looks like the 6280 would be cheaper, cnet's review doesn't lead me to believe that the upgraded firmware and bigger memory card really justifies a whole separate release.
