We checked out Seahawks Stadium Yesterday

And it probably won't work. :( The layout just isn't conducive to the con we want to pull off, although it would have been pretty sweet to have the concert on the actual field piped through the whole stadium. :) Anyway, I know I told a bunch of you it was looking like a real option, but I'd say it's nearly dead in the water at this point.

Back to square one. <sigh>

    Ok, so you're looking for other venues in the Seattle area... great!

    Having been dragged through the exhibition center for a Home Show it just wouldn't work well. It would be kind of like trying to hold PAX in the Tacoma Dome...

    Oh god, that's not a suggestion, it would be way to noisy.

    Having to drive three hours would suck, but what about portlands convention center?

    It'll never happen in Portland, but I would spray cum all over the country if they held PAX05 at the Convention Center.

    Three hours? Pfff. Go at night, you can do around 80 without much of a problem.

    Yah i'm not a huge fan of oregon either, but the oregon convention center is a great venue. You'd obviously have to ask your exhibitors, but i don't think portland is that far away from most of them, although i could be wrong. For example several of my friends went to a recent software testing conference in portland.

    I just love it how everyone says "HAVE PAX IN <insert their town here>" just so they don't have to drive more than 15 minutes to PAX. laziness in action.

    Have the convention down here in Tampa, so I have have a 30 minute drive, not a 30 hour flight.

    We have Ramen James Stadium.
