The drawing from when Titanic passed Star Wars played on the sinking as well, if I recall.

Oh you bet your ass it did

The full list of all those is quite cute, someone else should find and post it.

Endgame Thoughts From When I Saw It Last Night:
-I went into the movie knowing nothing about the comics and having avoided all spoilers, thinking Cap was going to die at the end. The moment they showed Morgan however, I knew Tony was doomed
-The whole scene with Thor and his mom was wonderful and made me a little misty
-The Asgardian guards chasing Rocket and also calling him a rabbit like Thor does made me laugh
-I love how everyone's at Tony's funeral in suits, or what passes for suits for non-Earthlings, and then there's Bucky in his "nice" motorcycle jacket

in hindsight, is it maybe a little fucked up that Bucky went to Tony’s funeral at all?

They were never friends, they were allies for all of one fight ever, and I saw nothing to indicate Tony forgiving him for the whole “killed my parents” thing. Even if he didn’t want to kill Bucky anymore, he probably wouldn’t be too comfortable hanging out with him.

I get if Bucky wanted to honour him, but maybe do that from a distance?

Tony literally had a comment about how he felt resentment was toxic. Inviting him to his funeral post-humously might of been his way of saying "sorry about trying to kill you."

What, no then that would be saying that Tony was wrong for trying to murder a brainwashed tool that was used by evil people to kill his parents. I have been assured that Tony was right to kill Bucky and Cap should have stepped back and let it happen.

    This is unnecessary.

I think they did for a while, I thought they backed up on that when it didn't immediately boost their sales numbers.

Still not a URL you'd want showing up on your work internet logs either way.

    Third Ant-Man movie title ideas

    Ant-Men and the Wasps
    The Wasp
Ant-Man and The Wasp and Stature
    Ant-Man 3: Time Heist 2

Whatever the title is, can the villain be The Beetle?

    Specifically, this Beetle, Janice Lincoln
    1b0kf2pmcjb7.png

She’s actually competent, and basically an evil version of Wasp. Plus, she’s a lawyer , so could give Scott some legal trouble

I, personally, am super tired of villains who are just evil versions of the hero. Give me something new and weird and different the heroes need to fight.

It's mostly parallel evolution. She's a modern version of one of Spider-Man's insect-themed rogues, and her main thing is that she's one of the low-level, not particularly violent if she doesn't have to be professional criminals in the setting.

It's one thing she shares with some of the portrayals of Tombstone. He's been all over the place, but one of his best portrayals is that he is a "no drama" criminal who just wants to quietly run his illegal business despite the fact that he's got super powers.

Beetle doesn't shrink, IIRC. She's just insect themed and flies.

She got the powers from having power armor, right? Or am I thinking of someone else?

There is one really weird thing with Janice, that the MCU could easily make less weird with the right casting choice

She was created years before the fact that she is Tombstone's daughter got introduced to her story and was presented as a pretty white looking lady

Tombstone is black. He is albino, but he's a black man.

Obviously there are mixed race folks who pass as white, so it isn't that unrealistic but the fact that it was retrofitted onto her character and that her identity as a black woman has literally never come up outside of her dad being Tombstone (which was done by 2 white guys including a Nick "Nazi Cap" Spencer) is super fuckin weird to me

I thought she looked more like she had mixed heritage in Spencer's Ant-Man series, for what it's worth.

If you see the film in theaters from this weekend on, you get the entire Far From Home trailer (including the message from Tom Holland) added to the film

Moviegoers who attend screenings of Avengers: Endgame this weekend will see something new: a pre-film message from Tom Holland encouraging them to stick around after the movie to see the trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home, the July 2 release that picks up the narrative thread after Endgame’s momentous events.

Avengers: Endgame broke from Marvel Studios tradition when it arrived in theaters without a post-credit scene. Those after-film clips have been a Marvel hallmark that tantalized fans with mysterious figures or cryptic glimpses of secret corners of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now that coda role is being fulfilled in a different way by a full-length trailer — and footage from Far From Home scenes that directly address the life-and-death plot developments of Endgame.

The Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer and pre-film message begin with screenings tonight of Avengers: Endgame, which has been enjoying a historic box office run.

So they announced another wave of Endgame action figures

There are some neat ones, like Rescue and Shuri and War Machine, with a Professor Hulk build-a-figure

But most importantly, it includes a handful of comic book characters, including the best horse boy this side of Asgard
