So I forgot my anniversary. But atleast I mentioned it first in the morning. What can I buy really quick so it looks like I didn't forget?

    A personal organizer?

and if you mean you're significant other, go for something that you know she likes. Chocolates and flowers are often looked at as "No brainer" gifts and it may come off looking like a last minute thing (which in your case it is).

So yeah, you should know best what she likes, not us... especially since you gave no information about anything.

I'd construct a situation such that everyone died at the exact same moment so that we could attack whatever afterlife there happens to be en masse and so take it over and create a perfect unending afterlife existence. Also, everyone who wanted one would have an afterlife pony.

Earrings. Get some nice earrings. She does have pierced ears, right? Because if not, it's going to be a lot harder to find earrings for her. It's personal. It's jewelry, but a changable accessory; not like a ring. And there's a lot of variety out there. You don't have to worry about 'fit' either. Any department store should carry a nice selection.

Oh, and when you buy the anniversary card, don't just sign your name, write out a line of personal sentiment too. Like "I'm so lucky to have you in my life." or some such thing. That way, it looks like you put some advanced thought into it and it doesn't look hurried or anything.

    Romantic dinner for two?
Certificate for a pedicure/manicure/massage (or all of them - I'm sure she deserves them having married a forgetful dingus)

As someone already said - you know her better then any of us. You shouldn't really have to ask the question. Just take a moment to calm down and think about it properly.

Get jewelery and roses. A dozen reds.
Also get on the horn and make reservations to a nice restaurant or you have to make her a nice dinner.

    on the dinner:

Get a bottle of Champagne first and then wine during the meal; says that you know what day it is and you are celebrating a wonderful year and so on. If you are making the dinner then you can have it ready when she gets home; candles and the whole schmere.

    All great suggestions. Thanks all!

As for me not posting any info. I am really forgetful and I'm a very bad present giver. I really do need all the help I can get. I should write stuff down somewhere when she says she likes something but thinks it's too expensive. That would be a handy little list to have right about now!
