Question regarding phone screen protectors - liquid and ones that use LOCA glue

I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 and getting a glass screen protector sucks.

I've seen some tempered glass screen protectors that use LOCA glue but am worried about what that glue will do to my screen. My phone sometimes gets hot so I don't know how that will affect the glue since heat is used to loosen it.

There's also liquid protector that only lasts a few months and needs to be reapplied.

Anyone got experience in any of these?

Linked ones are just examples. Link any that you have if they're better.

My current phone, OnePlus 5t came with some screen protector when I got it.

First time I ever used a screen protector on my phone.

Within a couple weeks it was scratched to hell and looked awful, so I removed it.

And now I have no screen protector and no scratches on my screen.

Are you sure you need one?

I've always used screen protectors. Never been without for more than a couple of days when I was waiting on a replacement.

Phone cost me $600. No insurance/replacement plan. I'd rather spend $15-50 to protect the $600 to be safe rather than sorry.

It has Gorilla Glass 5 I think they said.

According to a quick search that gorilla glass 5 is also what my phone has.

But I've also never broken a phone so I don't know.

Glass protectors mostly suck on Samsung phones because of the curved screen. The soft InvisibleShields have always treated me well, though.

My wife has one of the newer Note's so for a glass protector we pretty much only had a LOCA applied protector as our option. It took a couple of tries to really get right, if you decide you want to go with one, @ me and I'll try and talk through the mistakes we made, maybe it'll help you have an easier time.

Now that its on, it works just fine. Glass screen protectors are the best in my opinion.
