Help Choosing Comic Books

I have a soon to be 8 year old nephew, who is lets say awful at reading, but he loves Spiderman. I was thinking I could trick him into reading and thus practicing by getting him some Spiderman comics for his birthday (physical copies), what would be appropriate for someone of that age in the Spiderman storylines, maybe some sort of compendium that was a reprint of multiple individual books, that showed a complete storyline.

So I'm thinking the or Stan Lee run of the Amazing Spiderman might be a good place to start.

Wish I could offer some advice, but I don't read much in the way of comics and those I do read probably aren't really great for an 8 year old.

The Marvel Adventures line. Is lots of trades available.

They were made for younger audiences but had real good humor/fun stories

Is both an Avengers and Spider-man titles under the imprint.

Is the series where the baseball game vs Galactus comes from.

edit: Also the series this was from
