SO EXCITED. My expectations are a bit dampened because of Fates (sorry to those that loved it, I really wasn't a fan of the writing), but even that is only bringing my hopes down to "Top 5 of the year" territory.

Incidentally the inspiration for Edelgard's faction seems to be the Holy Roman Empire (I mean, look at the HRE coat of arms, for goodness sake) and they did, in fact, elect their emperor! So a vote for Edelgard is a vote for stability!
....also, as a Total War: Warhammer player, I'm holding out hope that she says one of Franz's lines so that I can giggle hysterically.
