I got close to that with a Agent/Quasiduplicate deck; I was playing against someone with very few permanents, some sort of mono-black discard deck, maybe they just couldn't find their Dreadful Presence. So I ramped up to Agent mana and took one of their Swamps. All I had left was a Quasiduplicate, so I hit my Agent with it twice and took two more Swamps.
They conceded before I could end my turn and draw nine cards.

In Magic Online this would happen every so often when someone would forget to submit their deck build and the game auto-submitted every card they drafted + auto-fill lands.

Also I got a deck with 2 8/8 demon fliers and a sephara
And I won a match because I had it stacked with fairie miscreants and one of the 2/3 mill when you play a blue spell cards.

One of my favorite Kenji stream moments: it was Cube. His opponent was on Storm. Kenji saw the opponent’s entire deck game 1... and the ONLY wincon, period, was Brain Freeze. So Kenji added like.. 400 lands in sideboarding. Maybe more!Cause MTGO would let you do that. The client sloooowed to a crawl. Somehow Kenji eventually drew a creature and his opponent scooped.
Edit: I was wrong it was WAY MORE than 400 lamds. He submitted a 1244 card deck

To clarify, MTGO would let you do that because that is absolutely something you can do in paper as well. It's just less of a surprise.
I might be wrong but I think Helm on Ormendahl should just give you a bunch of Abbeys that can't flip.
not unless you turned the land in to a creature and got a helm on that, then you'd get a bunch of useless lands that can't flip. Westvale Arbys if you will.
And in paper you have to be able to shuffle it without help in a timely fashion. 1200 cards is like what, a longbox? Probably too big.
You'd also have to sleeve all those lands.
It'd be pretty funny if you did all that and then they had a Lab Maniac in their sideboard.
The solution is to sideboard into a deck that's solely an unsleeved stack of one basic land type and let your opponent deck themselves. A deck of all the same card doesn't need to be shuffled!

Lost in the Woods.dec was a thing you could do in Innistrad/Dark Ascension, but it obviously wasn't 100% land.
I missed all of RNA (and WAR) due to ... an unplanned mtg hiatus. Back now and got Arena last month finally. Anyway with RNA on Arena “flashback” I wasn’t sure I was going to draft it over M20 since I’m so far behind on knowledge. But did some reading and learned of the Clear The Mind Deck. Which is EVERYTHING I want to do in magic. So on my break today, I booted up Arena and put this together
1x Pteramander
1x Sage Row Savant
3x Slimebind
1x Final Payment
1x Essence Capture
3x Clear the Mind
3x Thought Collapse
1x Deputy of Detention
1x Arresters Admontion
1x Code of Constraint
1x Azorius Locket
1x Sphinx pf New Prahv
1x Sphinx’s Insight
1x Homongulous
1x Prying Eyes
1x Depose/Deploy
1x Warrent/Warden
2x Orhov Guilgate
1x Swamp
5x Plains
9x Island
I’m 1-1 (back at work now. Loss was to double Ill Gotten Inheritance) but holy god is this fun. I absolutely could have drafted it better too but not bad for a first go.

Interesting. Dread Presence too expensive at 3B (really 4B if you want to get value)?
I've been winning a fair number of games with Dread Specter too but I have a very different deck since I've already spent the wildcards on duals:
1 Dread Presence
2 Kaya, Orzhov Usurper
3 Mortify
3 Kaya's Wrath
1 Cavalier of Night
1 Despark
3 Cry of the Carnarium
4 Seekers' Squire
1 Ethereal Absolution
4 Dread Shade
1 Massacre Girl
2 Sorin, Vengeful Bloodlord
2 Vraska's Contempt
4 Temple of Silence
4 Yarok's Fenlurker
1 Oath of Kaya
1 Golos, Tireless Pilgrim
1 Planar Cleansing
1 Ixalan's Binding
Also I don't normally play ranked (every now and then to get some extra season rewards) so this is just for fun. Smashing someone with an 11/11 Dread Specter with lifelink (thanks to Sorin) never gets old though. Golos is mostly in there to be cute; you could cut it and the chromatic duals and not really miss anything.
Yeah that bug was reported over a month ago, you cannot pay the spectacle cost for any cards targeted with her -2 even though it is legal in the rules to do so.
Maaaan I don't want to spend wildcards on boring lands. :<

Got my six wins and my fancy swamp.
Recently I started doing a dumb thing. But it's a thing I wanna do and it's not costing me a penny, so whatevs.
So first off, I've started opening packs until I have three from a specific set. This is because I'm at a point with my wildcards where each time I open three packs, I get a wildcard. So regardless of what junk the packs hand me, I get a wildcard out of it.
Second, I still buy packs because I don't draft, but I never buy 2020, because my friend had pre-ordered 2020 for me and more often than not when I open the pack I get everything as a duplicate except for the rares (which are sometimes duplicates; I have playsets of rares from 2020). Today, for example, I opened three 2020 packs I got from leveling and got nothing but a couple wildcards (including a mythic wild), Gargos, and Grafdigger's Cage (already had two).
Third, I buy packs in batches from sets, so I feel like I'm making progress in collecting that set.
And given when I started playing, I never got bothered getting any packs from Ixalan, Rivals, or Dominaria. The only cards from those sets I ever got were from the decks and upgrades you got with the Mastery system they introduced earlier this year (not the current bullshit). So even though they're getting rotated out in like six weeks I bought three packs of Ixalan over the past few days, will be doing Rivals now, and Dominaria after that...and I might just keep doing that (maybe interspersing Guilds and Allegiance, the other sets I have the fewest cards from) until they rotate out.

Yeah 1200 was probably overkill but the theory is sound.
I have put Helm of the Host on Golgari Findbroker, Ravenous Chupacabra, Ormendahl, and more in my Slimefoot commander deck.
Surprisingly, no. You copy whichever side is face up. If it's a card that can transform back (werewolf, Insidious Mist) the copy cannot do so.
ah interesting, maybe they changed that back when they gave back-faces the mana cost of the front sides.
not unless you turned the land in to a creature and got a helm on that, then you'd get a bunch of useless lands that can't flip. Westvale Arbys if you will.
I think it's always been that way; Evil Twin was in og Innistrad, so there had to be a ruling. It just doesn't come up very often.
You'd also have to sleeve all those lands.
It'd be pretty funny if you did all that and then they had a Lab Maniac in their sideboard.

But that was over three days play
For lulz I put 2x Ashiok in my Muldrotha deck.
Started with three lands + Ashiok in hand, never got any more lands during the entire game, exiled half his deck thanks to Ghost Form on Ashiok.
