Oh man I get to explain Belgian Sheepdogs again HERE WE GO
There's four types of dog that are basically subtypes of the Belgian Sheepdog; the Belgian Malinois is the most well known because of their search-and-rescue applications/relative popularity for well trained dogs in movies/use in the military. They're short haired but have similar colouring to the Terv
The Tervuren is my family's favourite breed (we've always had one Terv and one German Shepherd), they have long fur but a "black masque" and burgundy, tan, or silver fur
The Groendael is also long furred but totally black and they look like spooky dark wolf dogs
The Lakenois is the most rare and I've never seen one, they have a curly coat
Underneath they're all effectively the same breed archetype - very smart to the point of often being a little neurotic (socialization is mandatory) and almost uncomfortably human, the ladies can be a little aggressive about defending their boundaries and the dudes tend to be sweet little pushovers, and they're very mischievous - they love to play tricks on their family

As someone who's sat on one of those stages before, playing my instrument with the orchestra: I would be just as charmed as the audience, if not more so.

Not that I've noticed. He smeared what's on his face all around his bowl and licked that off though. His adopted brother was much neater about eating and hardly got any outside of his mouth. 😊
