Odd question, any help?

I'm a PAX n00b, and I'm really excited about this year. I didn't see anything in the forums yet about this so here goes...

Any info anywhere about getting my band to play at PAX? I know this year is pretty much out of the question (?), but who knows, '08 may see The Keeper at PAX...

Advice would be well appreciated! Thanks!

p.s. Check us out here if you're curious, but our recordings are not yet up to date... we're working on it!

a local-to-me group called The Squares is also making an effort for PAX'08. I'd like to see more music through the day if possible, and I think that a number of these smaller bands could fit that kind of idea perfectly.

Unless your music has something to do with gaming, which is not what I gathered from your myspace, I don't think you have much of a shot.

Well, like I said our recordings are old... This past Saturday at Jules Maes our singer devoted a song to Warhammer 40k. That and he was throwing Magic cards out to the crowd.

I don't think we have much of a shot for this year, but maybe '08 would be when we have enough gaming/pop culture material together.

Heh, our last set was dedicated to Airwolf so I think that is a step in the right direction.

Thanks for actually listening to some of it though it is appreciated!

I was in a band in college that had a song about Chuck Norris. Maybe we can do a reunion tour for '08. :P

Get some of your other material up there and we'll give it a listen. And for some reason the name The Keeper makes me think of a dungeon master. The DM!

We've got a recording from our last show in the mixing stage right now. I'll post any updates to the site in this thread.

The name is refernces the keeper of keys/gatekeeper/keymaster... a little Ghostbusters but really, y'know?

Is there an "official" person I should be contacting/lobbying to get attention?

The said official people read this forum and will see the thread.

In this situation i think its a case of "Dont call us, we'll call you" :P
