Well ... for whatever reason, I can't join any space missions. On the flotilla I was on there were 29 ground teams and 1 space team. So I figured I would try to join a space team but I ... just ... can't? My RailJack is basically a paper airplane so I dare not even think about hosting as my ship would implode with a mean look from an enemy craft. But every time I try to join a space squad it tells me that there are no open squads.
I guess Scarlet Spear is not going to happen unless I go join the multitudes of ground squads sending kill codes into the ether. I guess it could help me to rack up some points but the whole point of this event is to drive away the murex ships. If so few space teams are working I don't think many ships will get driven away.
I just looked and the flotilla I'm on (on Switch) is sitting at 0/50 with 21 ground teams and 7 space teams ... but I can't join a space team? I call shenanigans. Is there a minimum requirement for intrinsic for joining space teams? If there is then I guess it would be 'to the ground with you'.
Edit: Well, I was finally able to join a space squad where the game proceeded to bug out. A couple of host migrations later I finally aborted the mission as I was the only one left ... more than likely with MY railjack in tow. Then the game itself crashed ... something I haven't seen in a while. Okay Warframe ... I guess it's back to the normal grind until ... IDK ... whenever.
Jaw sword can be used as a stat stick for some abilities like Atlas' punch (I think). Combine a good riven with it's syndicate mod that gives it 100% melee damage and it's one of the popular choices.

Atlas punch yes. Khora whipclaw Super-yes.
Skana, dual cleavers and jawsword (and their variants) are the preferred stat-sticks because they have syndicate +100% damage mods available to them.

Aren't changes to Riven Dispositions effectively just a reflection of a given weapon's popularity, as applied to some indefinite formula? Like I assume Opticor's disposition increased simply because no one really uses it for current content, not because there was any sort of genuine developmental consideration for making it a more appealing gun.
Which isn't to say that the changes are thus wholly rational, just that it has rarely seemed worth puzzling over a weapon's disposition because they have always only ever been nonsense.

I honestly think that the Scarlet Spear, despite having all the hot-fixes up to a point is still broken on Switch. Last night I was on a flotilla and despite having 21 ground teams and 9 space teams, had 0/50 murex driven away, with an hour left. I couldn't join any space teams (except the one time I joined and the game bugged out), and when I went to join a ground team I was loaded into a solo mission (although there were ~20 teams on the ground). I dealt with about 3 condrix before I extracted and sent three kill codes. Got back to the flotilla and we're still sitting at 0/50.
I also stuck around to see if anyone was using the console for space missions and although no one approached the console the indicator was showing new instances of space teams. It may have all been visual bugs but it's not a good look. I'll try again today and hope to actually make a bit of progress. But last night I gave up and just ran some SO instead to level some weapons.

correct partially
disposition is ostensibly based on popularity with overall strength also a factor
it's also mostly arbitrary nonsense and a terrible system for a number of reasons

Just stumbled across this ... I don't know if it was posted before but it made me chuckle. I wonder how much of it is canon.
Edit: If you ever wanted to know how the relationships pan out between the various Warframes ... my favorite was "Crimes"
Gara has been serving me very well so far in Scarlet Spear.
I wonder how long it's going to take for consoles to get the patches that make the event easier.
What's hard about it? It seems mostly... Tedious, honestly.
Edit: Also, nobody wants to do ground because space is far, far more rewarding of credits.

I haven't even looked at SS since the first day. However, in the case of the Switch, I think most people went for ground because not many people bothered to upgrade their RJs. Your RJ can really take a beating and you can lose the satellite quickly if you can't get it to the objective (aka the next Murex) quickly. On Switch ... at least when I was in the relay ... there was a heavy emphasis on ground teams. At one point there were more than ~30 ground teams and 1 space team.
Of course, you don't need a good RJ to join space (only open RJ teams) but if the people with 'good' RJs already have their teams then getting into one would be harder than getting into a ground mission which really doesn't need much/any prep. There are fewer space teams because fewer people actually upgraded their RJs to take on higher-level content.
I figure I can get the 40k some credits I need for a max rank Avenger in a month. Otherwise, meh. Oh maybe the magnetic resist one, I hate mag procs. 102% means "immune", right?
Edit: Oh, and Atlas Prime with the Kuva Bramma is just unfair. Guess who doesn't get knocked down? He just goes into a blocking animation briefly.

I'm annoyed at how the changes affected the Kuva Ogris. It used to be an excellent way to soften up enemies as you dove into melee with them, but now that just gets you knocked on your ass.

Not with Cautious Shot. That mod doesn't work anywhere near as effectively now, though.

Also, weapons with no self-damage but with a psuedo-explosion like the Sonicor now make you flinch/backflip/fall out. It used to be my favorite secondary but now I just can't anymore. I mean, I can understand with weapons that may have killed you ... but they applied the stagger-gate to weapons that originally did nothing to you. I can't be arsed to go farm up the mods to make me not flinch, then forma a perfectly good weapon so that those mods fit, then have less fun because every now and again you will still flinch like a scared child. So much for being a badass space ninja. LOL.
I finally entered the endgame. After 585 hours I bought my first skin. That Nova Atomica skin is so fucking hot I just had to have it. Sold a couple prime parts and am loving it.

Good choice, I want it but never keep prime parts long enough to sell. Eventually I'll buy more plat and grab it.
If I'm understanding this correctly, the best way to farm Scarlet Credit is to enter a flotilla that looks like it's going to complete, do one five-Murex mission, then move on to another flotilla?

I think it gives you extra points for your single best score from both the ground and railjack missions....though yeah, it might be more points/time to just hit up the RJ mission on multiple flotillas

Man, re-rolling low disposition rivens is depressing. Some time ago, I eventually got my Hirudo riven in a good place, where it slightly buffs all the right stats. But this Atterax riven gets worse every single time. And it started out doing more harm than good to one of the better melee weapons in the game.
But on the plus side, my third roll of the Cryotra riven I got from Simaris turned up bonus status duration, which I gather will be pretty nice, when Ticker finally gets some Familial Debt Bonds in stock so I can actually purchase and equip the bloody thing.

I need a new super weapon. After the damage changes my favorite weapon in the game is no longer even close to par even more. I mean I don't usually push hard content but, for instance, if I want to crack open a bunch of axi relics in a row it is nice to have a gun that you know will get the job done. I understand why they made the changes they did, but they really gutted the entire Tigris line. Honestly my Tigris prime was just barely keeping up before, that burst was insane, but now I need something new. I prefer shotgun combat since I am a poor shot, although I am having a lot of fun trying out different ways to maximize my tennora with that nice riven. Arca plasmor has become my go to, since it has lower burst then the Tigris but much better sustain and aoe clear. I feel like it is not quite super weapon powerful though. So any suggestions?

The Arca Plasmor used to be a beast. That changed significantly since the riven change before last and the modifications they made to the projectiles it fires (same nerf that tired to bring the Catchmoon in line iirc. Mostly damage drop-off related I think?)
It's still a good gun but really there's not anything that'll get it back to it's former glory that I know of.
