You know, I can't think of any big comebacks lately. A big comeback like Elvis had with primetime specials and sold out theaters and such. The Foo Fighters' 2020 comeback tour was canceled due to the Plague.

I don't share the same sentiment about rock but I would more describe this album as rock-adjacent pop than rock.
The album is evocative of a long drive on a warm sunny day, a barbecue with good friends, and sleeping in because you're a little hungover and have nowhere to be. Your mileage may vary.
Although for me this album is more associated with the time before the quarantine, when I would sometimes get up at 3-4 am to go to work so I could get some time to experiment.
