Use the hammers as liberally as you want, your resources will run out well before you run out of them. If you're worried, save like 100 for future facility events and level cap increases.

Yeah I’ve got more hammers than I will ever likely need at this point.

Also 19 mill gold will go a lot faster than you expect at high levels of weapons. Just a fair warning. A 2nd tier chimeratech weapon is nearly 3 mil investment for 0 unbound.

I think I have 900 hustle hammers, but I also started early on so my halidom was built before they came around. Everything is max right now except one of each elemental shrine is still 35, and I think one of the trees is still not 15 yet.

The stones are for unbinding dragons. I would hold onto them until you really need one to fully unbind a dragon, most of the dragons you'll get enough of over a long time.

how do i farm rainbow orbs? they're the significant bottleneck for me on getting elemental altars any higher.
like there's no decent way to get more of them... double drop elemental ruins are way too inconsistent.

i've got facility level at 1,658 right now, and about 900 hustle hammers.
i never actually have to wait for anything but there's not a ton more to do, except elemental altars and some of the fafnirs.
maybe grinding sHDTs would be more productive at this point than altars.

Also the circus tent if you haven't done the compendium yet, that goes to 35 now.

Do they ever rotate events out of the compendium, or are they there for good once they're in? I'm working on upgrading my yuletree now. I'm hoping to get my water adventurers to the point where they can auto-battle the flame chimera. I can clear it if I stay at the helm, but they don't quite have the DPS to be left to their own devices.

The compendium is new, so we don't know if they'll rotate stuff out or not. They've only added to it once so far, the other three were added all at the same time

They just added the compendium a couple months back, and the circus was just added to it. So far they haven't talked about rotating things out, but who knows.

I see. Thanks for the input. I guess the safe bet is max out the yuletree, add the extra 5 levels to the other two, and then grab the circus tent.

How much might to people expect you to have for standard HMS? Given the suggested might numbers, I'd think that a 7k Marth would be more than sufficient, but I'm having a hell of a time getting a match to fire ever since the one time that I got a match for the royal regimen challenge.

I think Comcast is throttling my p2p traffic. I had been having a terrible time joining coop games for a couple of days, but didn't figure it out till I was trying to patch a game on my PC that was getting slowed to a crawl for just a 10gb game. The process of trying to figure out led me to believe it was slow because maybe the launcher did p2p patching and I'd had issues like that in the past I think with blizzard maybe? So I turned on my VPN to a p2p supporting server and it downloaded in moments.

But that made me wonder about dragalia. I'm still having issues with searching for rooms running infinitely and creating rooms taking about a minute from hitting the create room button to put you in one. So I turned off my phone wifi. I was instantly able to play like normal.

I have a few of those summoning ticket for 5* dragons and adventurers. Is there any reason why I shouldn't just use them? I recall people wanting to wait until the 5* adventurer pool was updated for those tickets, but that was over a year ago and the pool still looks the same.

Yeah they still haven't improved the pool for adventures, but the dragon tickets are fine to use whenever.

Stuck on a 10 hour night shift with literally nothing to do. But I discovered I can almost auto expert high mids (just need to take control to dodge the first 8-way), so I’m grinding orbs to finish my fafnir statue.

Lowen is the best and I am going to spiral him whenever I get some rainbow orbs, so... never.

They really needed to go back to the drawing board with this event format. It's...not great. Very grindy, very little challenge, kind of screwy and disappointing reward system. I'm holding out hope that they'll add a Nightmare difficulty that can't just be autobattled -- there is a conspicuous empty spot in the bottom-left corner of the difficulty selection screen -- but that seems unlikely given that there aren't any endeavors referencing another difficulty level.

I think there's potential in the idea of a wave-based, dragon-focused event, but they really haven't capitalized on that potential.

i feel like this is the most openly autobattle grind for bad rewards event they've done since i started playing at least. do people actually want this content? like sure, gatcha's are gambling addiction optimizers, but the draw to this one is it has actual gameplay to me

People have been asking for wave-based content basically since the game launched, and lately they've been asking for dragons to be more relevant, so this kind of addresses both requests. It's just really poorly done. Something must have happened to screw up the development here, because there are so many weird and uncharacteristic flaws. (There's also a severe lack of polish. Look at the list of glory rewards...the intervals between rewards are all over the map.)

I kind of wonder if this event was actually developed a long time ago (like a year or more) and they just kind of threw it out there with the minimum possible amount of work needed to adapt it to the game's present state. There was a time in the game's lifespan when all of this granite actually would've been a great reward.

Linnea is fully voiced in Japanese, and I'm pretty sure the units were datamined a while ago. Could have been old, or could have been just barely fleshed out but not really because of COVID. Who knows. The idea is great, but they've got to fix the execution.

This feels to me like more of a catch up event that's been made more involved than a normal event that's been dumbed down. The one week duration is the main thing that makes me think that, since the other catch up events have been one week long and even less involved than this.

This new wyrmprint makes me happy since I needed a burn punisher print and everyone kept telling me to run Elegant Escort, which apparently was from an event.

If you played since the outset, you would have four copies of Elegant Escort. This new one is objectively better, fortunately.

I managed to clear the all-out assault EX map once, but not cleanly. My might topped out at ~19000 on a fire/dark mixed team. I had to have one of my flame heroes run Phoenix to get some heals in, otherwise my dragons wiped in the finale where all four fight together. Also I still lost a dragon and won with one second left on the clock.

Mercurial Gauntlet pays out in a few hours. Might be worth revisiting to try to up your monthly payout if you haven’t tried it in a while. With the various power boosts I was able to clear the whole thing a few months ago, after having been stuck on some of them.

I've been able to solo eCiella since GLief and the Lowen spiral came out. Every comp i saw online before that was adamant that Sylas was necessary. I can't auto it but it's pretty nice to have the option. Some times you just want low stakes but involved gameplay and i don't care if it takes 8:30 instead of 2:30 to do it.

45mc Thope has a 0UB 6* MUB Freya skills are agito weapon/patia buff skill
50mc Glief has a 3UB 6* MUB Vayu
70mc Ranzal has a 1UB 6* MUB Roc
70MC Lowen has a 0UB CT2 MUB Stribog

the two swords is a little awkward but maybe I can MUB Lief's and just give Thope a CT2 once I get Ranzal's axe finished. Unclear that the Lowen spiral is required but the improved defense skill is pretty great. I'm also not entirely sure if the agito skill counts as a defense buff to trigger a team heal doublebuff or not so maybe thope doesn't need it at all except for iframes

Also the Halloween event is coming back which means another shot at HElly for folks (and hopefully a spiral for her). And for people who haven't gotten it before now, grab Candy Couriers for the love of all that is good and holy.

oh yeah that's awesome! All i had processed was that I could get hlowen finally and have better odds of getting into fire content groups because the community acts like Marth spiral killed the usefulness of everyone else.

So as this current event comes to a close in a few days, I've noticed that there are still a lot of rewards left that I haven't grabbed. Are the skill tomes worth burning through lots of honey to get? I can auto the master solo dragon fight but need to manually pilot the 4x dragon fight. I've managed to improve my time though from 1 second left on the clock to ~40 seconds on the clock.

I'm shooting for the shadow tomes at 1.25m and that's it. nothing else is really worth it and i can get it by letting the game auto on solo

I wish that I could set the bots to use their dang skills during the dragon fight. I have enough stratagems to run the EX map enough times to unlock the shadow tomes, but my team is too weak to auto the fight. Activating their skills would be enough to push them over the edge to win and is the main reason why I don't have any problem manually winning the fight. I don't want to run that fight 20 times though.

Success! I managed to scrape together a team that can fully auto the fight. The trick was that my guys need one heal, so I upgraded a few "Last Recovery" wyrmprints and gave one to everyone. That was enough to push me over the top. Well, that and a few more void fights to scrape together one more chimeratech weapon. Kinda glad that I was able to pull it off despite only being able to scrape together ~21k might on the team.

They boost the attack power in dragon form only. You don't have to worry too much about them.
