A few days ago, while trying to clean my laptop's keyboard with a toothpick, I accidentally dislodged a small plastic button from its resting spot underneath my spacebar. Not really knowing what to do at the time, I just used the toothpick to shove it back under until I was registering button presses again.
It worked well enough, but not every button press is being registered and it's turning typing into an annoying experience.
So what should I do? Take off the spacebar and center the button better?
If so, how do I take off my spacebar?
Also, was the button likely originally held in place by some kind of adhesive?
