Hado will disengage from the demons flanking him and move north so that he is adjacent to Gear at her southern side. He'll also use a bonus action to refresh Shillelagh.
"Gear! I made it back across the canyon! That monolith moved me here!"
Baber's echo melts away and Baber resumes glowing brightly in alternating pulses of deep red and purple. They watch the flying demon swoop up above and they see it loose an arrow. They batter the arrow aside and as part of the same motion they sweep the arm scythe into the giggling demon's midsection!

Hado will spend his reaction and raise Rebel's Defiance to take the blow instead of Gear ((this is the 24 to attack and 4 damage from a few posts above, narratively it would have happened right as Hado reached Gear I think)). After taking that hit, Hado will move towards the purulent flower to their west and have a look at it.
Baber stands up, battered and bloody, and backs up towards the chasm. They ready their demon scythe to swing at any oncoming attackers that step too close, moving their foot backwards and setting their stance. Another echo forms behind them, floating over the chasm.
Gear whirls around to where hado cane from, giving a thankful nod to Hado, and unleashes another set of blasts at the tree demons that emerged from the monolith

Gear! The prone demon, the one you last hit with a spell of flame, rolls onto its front and groggily gets up. Having some sense, it lunges through the monolith, heading to parts unknown.
Baber's echo moves 30 feet straight south towards the new chasm! Once it does, Baber teleport switches with it, then they move another 30 feet east and then south around the blazing fire and new chasm, attempting to meet back up with Hado and Gear. [OOC: because obviously where there's lots of explosions and shit, Gear and Hado aren't too far behind] The echo fades behind them as they move away from it.
"...Give me a warning first, Hado!" Gear says sas she pulls herself back to her feet. She and her monkey whirl around (it's a whirly kind of day) and yell "LEAVE MY FRIEND THE FUCK ALONE"

"Gear! Move away from this new one if you're able! It's-- owww!-- all muscley!" Hado gestures wildly at the new demon, wincing in pain as the thrown boulder crashes into him. Hado casts Create Bonfire under the feet of that demon, and then moves westward as far as he is able, ending up near Gear.
"It's less muscely now!" Gear says cheerfully. She's uh, she's looking a little feral right now. Gear is PISSED about the abbot and the risk to her friends

The huge skeleton can be traversed. It may call for a skill check, but you don’t know in advance how hard it’ll be to cross it.
You know little of the catacomb, only that it is has many arches leading inside. You can enter it from any space. There appears to be a large downward staircase in the middle of it.
The monoliths teleport things between them. To use it for something more... it’ll need investigating first.
