When I first signed up for Gmail and all the other Google services, I used a screenname I've been using from my Call of Duty days. However, now that I'm using Gmail as my primary e-mail account, I want to switch to something a little more professional. I've registered as firstname.lastname@gmail.com, and I'm looking for a nice clean way to import everything from the old account to the new one.
Is that possible, or will I have to do everything manually? I may just give out my new e-mail and have it forward messages to the new account.
In the settings, you can add accounts. So what you'd want to do is have your new, professional email address be added to your old, Call of Duty-name account, and there you go. You'll even be able to send email from the professional address while signed in to your old one. In fact, there is a way to make replies automatically come from whatever address they were sent to, so you don't get a business contact sending you mail to your new address, and getting a reply from "GOKU_411XXX8DBZ@gmail.com."

Go to Settings->Accounts and hit "Add another email address" to send mail from your old account through your new account name.
You can set your other account to forward under Settings->Forwarding and POP.
Thanks for the help guys.
