My computer just did this, it's fine, right?

I tried to load a game in Lutris and nothing happened, so I tried restarting Lutris and nothing happened, so I tried doing anything else and nothing happened, then all the letters became boxes. I hit the power button and immediately it started scrolling this text. o_o

I held the power button down to reboot it and I didn't think it would start, but then it did, and tentatively things seem fine. SMART Data self test says the SSD is okay. It's been crashing a good bit when I have CoH up, but my husband says that's likely a video card issue because my video card is from 2013. That's fine then, right? Seems fine.

And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn

You can try a deep power cycle as well:

Shut down like normal, unplug the computer, hold the power button for ~30s. Then reconnect power and start up. This works better for other electronics, but it's worth a shot.

I don't know anything about Lutris; I'm assuming that was some sort of attempt to write a debug/crash log file but the OS still had the target folder/directory set as read only(?)
