So you guys know the things in your ram stick slots, the ones on the ends that snap the stick into place so it works all good and all? Well...one of mine broke and no longer snaps the stick into place. Is there a way I can snap my stick into place and have my pc read it without the aid of those flimsy prongs?
If it's not just staying in by itself, soft electrical tape is probably your best bet. Be bloody careful when applying it, mind you. And even then you could rip a trace if you're not careful; your absolute best bet is to use another socket on the board, if possible.
Also, be careful to use actual eletrical tape; check wiki if you don't know what I mean; for goodness sake don't use duct tape or something similar.
Which sort of RAM is it? Does it click in sideways, or do you push it in?
