Can anyone identify this plant?

Posted this in the homeowner's thread in D&D, thought I'd try my luck here as well. I have a series of these plants in my front flower bed, some of which were choked out because I am a terrible homeowner and let grass invade the beds. I'd like to fill in the ones that died, only I can't figure out what kind of plant this is. Dr. Pepper included for scale.

While I can't ID it for you (I'm not great with plants) I suggest you take closeups of the leaves and flowers and then use the Identify feature of plantnet.org

Thanks for this. Based on the query results it looks like a Mexican Heather.
