Help with CPU usage

My laptop CPU usage jumps from 0% to 100% every other second. I delete all my processes but the ones I must have, but it continues doing it.

Any advice?

    Can you give us some of the machine's specs? And where did you get your list of must-have processes?

    See which process uses the cpu? keep task manager open, sort by cpu. Watch.

    Also post the memory used compared to the memory available.
