    Gragas also works!

there's nothing easier in this game than a shyvana game where the enemy team physically cannot stop themselves from running backwards in a tightly packed straight line at the first sign of danger

I've never had so many 4 person hits in one game (and got my first mastery 7 token!)

that is an awful name. 95% chance this thing is dead before it even comes out. the other 5% is ofc it becomes the biggest fighting game in the world but given how much riot is cutting i don’t see them putting in the amount needed to make it successful

In fighting game circles it's turning into kind of a big deal, despite the name

It looks like it's trying to take the mantle from UMvC3 which remains the standard for its genre because MvC: Infinite was such a dud.

It's also opening up a new kind of gameplay where it's actual 2v2, i.e. 4 people.

I wonder how they're gonna deal with that netcode.

SFxTekken had that and it was a dud too, but mostly because of its stupid pay-to-win gem system.

It gets a lot of credit/goodwill in the fighting game circle because the devs are Tom and Tony Cannon: aka the guys who founded the evo tournament series, created GGPO which popularized Rollback Netcode, and made Rising Thunder before they were bought out by riot.

I pretty much trust them implicitly to make the game fun + have some of the best netcode in the business

a scene popular game isn’t going to stop them from being canned. league is one of the biggest games in the world that makes billions of dollars and they cut huge amounts of resources from it in the last few months. if this game isn’t instantly massive like valorant it’ll be in a ditch in a year.

I think they'll definitely give it longer than that, but yes, I could see it being gone without pretty heavy popularity and soon.

Patch day, and they are fixing my major complaint about smol:

    u0nant2z3n85.png

Now he won't be a solo-carry monster who can build spear of shojin and all tank items and still delete me at 225 stacks.

Decided to try something else after feeling like hitting a wall in bot lane... and I think I actually like Kog'maw a lot? Havn't had a game yet where I utterly popped off, but at least I've always felt relevant. And while I may have just been high rolling with good team mates, going 6-2 in one night ain't bad. Especially when one of those losses was due to a disconnect.

Been going BORK and Terminus (boy that's a interesting item), which I'm rushing depends on how the game is feeling. Rageblade or Hurricane third depending on enemy team comp.

If you have enchanters and a tank jungle he's a ton of fun--if you can trust people to peel, but that's ADC life mostly. He really gives me "walking turret" vibes, which I love, but that lack of mobility is really rough in contemporary League.

"Enchanters"? What are these things? Boy I havn't seen one in ages down in the dirt leagues, except for the random Nami and *maybe* a Sona. Feels like it's either Mages (Zyra, Lux... maybe a Xerath or a Swain sometimes) or Engage/Kill lane supports (freaking Pants) all the time lately.

Which... I'm not really surprised, since supports in Bronze want to actually have a little bit of agency over how the game goes. Playing a enchanter, you're putting your fate into someone else's hands. Been actually trying to play a little bit of Janna again and *boooooy* howdy.

I... uh, decided to just throw caution to the wind and decided to jump on the mage train, and dear god had I forgotten how much fun Lux support was. There's just something hella satisfying just lasering someone's face off. Totally understand why they're going to be nerfing some of those "support" items.

Have gone 5-1 so far, and I think most of them have been S's, which has pushed me to Mastery 6.

Game is early, yone is frustrated, sees bot and jng losing hard and said "ya'll suck"

I respond with “I work with the tools I have Yone”

Much later he said “Galio, I don’t think you suck”

Galio R: getting honors since 1947

Hey, um...Volibear is pretty good right now.

    l6gvmlgg8cog.png

I know this is a low sample size, but I inted away an early death trying to contest my blue on invade and basically played "brain off" most of the game (sorry @credeiki @Casual Eddy) and still did murderbeartiger things.

    https://youtu.be/ee1AGhhTPSk

I feel like I really should've been dead after all that.

    Oh really league?

    You think I'm top?

I dunno, I have questions about your analysis here.

You're supposed to stay with the ADC, dude. Just because you can leave lane with your ult... ;)

I think I went top a total of once the entire game to help the Rakan secure a kill.

This is the second game I've noticed this when I've been filled top and got to swap to sup. The game used to actually put me down as support afterwards because obviously. Now it's just "hur dur you top"

I currently have around 60-65% WR on Galio support since the changes.

And they just released a patch buffing him because they felt he was too weak after the 'nerfs.'

I cared a lot about this game 10 years ago and I will never ever install it again once they add Vanguard, so I played a few games for the first time in years to experience it with my setup and internet that's 1000x better than in 2013. I fed badly against ""new"" champions, I couldn't parse shit even with my bigger new monitor, and a jungle Sion got super pissy at Kat mid. Perfect send off and good luck with the kernel hax.
