    We'd kinda have to have control of more than one seat of government to do that.

    yeah essentially if the democrats don't take all seats of government next election, it'll be the end of civil and women's rights and more akin to the US of the late 1800s.

    yeah but that requires

    a. winning the election, overwhelmingly enough to have a solid grasp on both houses of the legislature as well as the white house
    b. actually getting the elected democratic party to do it.

    Again, I don't really wanna stress people out but this is, in fact, what I'd qualify as an unqualified shitshow.
