The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I've played WoW primarily for the last year or so, but alas, I am bored and uninterested. I want something new to play. I am very out of the loop as far as new releases goes. I like all kinds of games pretty much except im tired of RTS's and I kinda don't like games based on anime unless it's really A+. So please, bring on the suggestions.
no you cannot have a sig that size. especially with compression that crappy.
What systems besides a gaming PC do you own? This is important to know. The games I've played since I've gotten out of WoW recently haven't all been on one system.
You could try Company of Heroes. It's an RTS of a sort but not like anything you've played before.
I'm finding Stalker to be a real good larf.
NWN2 if your particularly into RPG's (more specifically D&D stat heavy RPG's)
For any better sugestions you'll have to give us more of an idea of what genres your into? How important is multiplayer?/Story? etc.
EDIT: Also specs for your PC roughly at least would be a great help.
I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that it has to be on PC. I don't own anything else.
Gah, this limits things a bit. I've found that games with a lot of depth and life in them are what's kept me entertained post-WoW but most of those have been on portable systems.
PC-wise, strategy tends to be the most replayable stuff in my experience, especially stuff with random map generators like Civ. So Civ4 would be the first thing I'd recommend.
It may be worth considering Gametap too. Everyone's that tried it seems to have enjoyed it and it offers a good assortment of titles to keep things from getting stale.
What the heck, the PC doesn't "limit things a bit."
We could use some more guidance as to what you want and like RMH says your system specs. Also it would be nice to know what games you like and how far back we can go (like, is Half-Life 2 a good suggestion? What about Planescape: Torment or No One Lives Forever?)
Anyways, Oblivion + mods is fun, Half-Life 2 + Episode 1 is fun, Baldur's Gate II is fun, Sam and Max Season 1 is fun, Diablo II's fun, KOTOR's fun, Warcraft III is fun, Freespace 2 is fun and free, No One Lives Forever 1 and 2 are fun, Planescape: Torment is fun, Fallout 2 is fun, The Sims 2 is fun, Deus Ex is fun, and so on. That's excluding RTS games and stuff.
