Can my iMac support external displays?

I have an old iMac that I use for music production, here are the specs:
iMac (27-inch, Late 2012)
3.2 GHz Intel Core i5
8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1 GB
It still runs awesome, but i could really use more screen real estate.
Looking at this page: https://support.apple.com/kb/sp667?locale=en_US it seems that it has two thunderbolt ports that I think are also mini-display ports. Does this mean I can drive two additional external displays, assuming i get the right adapters/cords?
