Not a bug, just a feature request, or rather an inquiry into how hard it might be to implement such a feature.
Given the forum has a different color scheme for read threads and unread threads, I find myself habitually clicking on threads I've read before to catch up on discussion. However, with many different current-events threads, I can find myself getting into a self-destructive spiral of refreshing, reading, refreshing, reading etc, and when said threads are filled with other people with (understandable) anxiety, I find my own mirrors and feeds off of others'. I've long wondered if it might be possible to have the ability to hide threads from view, effectively allowing the "me" at a higher mental health point the ability to prevent the "me" at a low mental health point from getting into such a cycle, at least without a few extra clicks to find whatever page the hidden threads are on and re-listing them.
I dunno. It's something I've been working with for years, and I've gotten a bit better about my self-control but I sometimes find myself back-sliding, and I'm probably not the only person who might benefit from the ability to do this.
Or maybe it exists and I just never found it >_>

Using the element picker, you can find the ID for a thread and block that element from showing up. You might need to dig through the filter levels a bit, since by default the element selector won't be able to select the entire thread out of the HTML of the index.

You'd need to repeat it on all your devices though.
e: On the off chance you swing by again, thanks again, it's working like a charm and while I can tell when something is hidden (the alternating background colors don't match), and if it's the top thread on a given subforum I can see there's stuff to read on the forum index, but I've been finding this has already been helping a TON with said urges, and with my mood. Thanks a ton.

That's the repo if you want to take a look at it.
