You can watch the roku channel on the web, I believe
i hope they somehow break off the tag match and do that instead... or Sammy gets Wardlow to sabotage MJF/Jericho at a critical moment
there's a lot of stuff they COULD do in this storyline but my main frustration is they're dragging it out so long and there haven't been many high points during the wait
we also talk about other random shit and clown upon each other
It sounds like this will be similar to the old AXS show, essentially the big matches with some additional English promos and content. It's definitely a good move for the company, but redundant for English speaking fans who already have NJPW World.
Well, I guess I'll finally open the Roku channel thing for the first time on the TV we've owned for about a year now
Anyway Meltzer said deal is essentially done between NJPW and AEW, though the ongoing pandemic is going to keep most of the big names from showing up on either show. KENTA was able to show up in part because he lives in Orlando.

He was never a big bumper but he did work into his 60s so you gotta figure that takes a toll.
My favorite Fenix moment is when he flipped Frightmare off and yelled "FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU!" in the middle of CHIKARA's King of Trios.
It really hit home with Too Cool. They're a goofy team, clearly not going to be long term stars but the crowd was behind them and WWE actually pushed them. They end up helping out the Rock and Mankind in an amazing 10 man tag match and end up getting a short title reign.
No way that currently happens.
(twitter translate) Marvelous is a joshi promotion, one of the competitors Rin Kadokura is signed with them
Also Ice Ribbon wrestler Yappy said on her Twitch stream last night (according to what I read on reddit) that the tournament is being filmed in the Ice Ribbon dojo

An argument could be made that Henry is legitimately one of, if not the, strongest men who ever lived. He has records that stand until this day from his early 90s lifting career and he never even reached his full potential as a pure strength athlete. And he did it across powerlifting, strongman, and Olympic lifting.
Truly a workhorse, powerhouse, and genetic freak.

Absolutely, but the GTS has always looked terrible regardless of who did it as a finisher.

The WWE Network special on him from a few years ago gave a good overview of this too. Big Show's comments were especially great.
If your response was “who?” That’s Deonna Purrazzo’s boyfriend and was the third Forgotten Son (Blake and Ryker). Apparently after Ryker’s racist tweets got the group broken up, he and Blake were with Corbin for a week
Per Fightful, the reason he was fired is after that week, he tested positive for COVID (attended a New Years Eve party) and thus another plan for him had to be dropped abruptly
Despite WWE already having been the first wrestling company to fire people during a plague, this would also be the first wrestler fired Because Of Getting the plague

I hate to say it but I don't even like that one. It always looks weak to me. It's got all this potential from the falling momentum and then it's ruined by making it safe. And then everyone's botching it too. I remember watching CM Punk having so many issues with it.
Its a shitty move.
None of that excuses Moxley from botching it as badly as he did and then deciding to flop around like Shawn Michaels.
It's one of those moves that requires too much obvious aid from the one taking the move, and the shoulders bit just doesn't make sense. You're getting less momentum than if you just were free of all that weight and straight kicked the opponent in the face. But once you've built yourself around a move, guess you gotta stick with it. Bryan's running knee is effectively doing the same thing but looks like a million bucks in comparison.

The one he hits on Rollins at about :50 in is brutal

EDIT - I took way too long to reply to the discussion. But I like that the clip shows him using two moves that were both taken by WWE wrestlers as finishers.

So I had to explain to him the whole deal with Kenta and the IWGP US championship.
But really it was just a gateway for me to show him this tweet:
