I am getting my grocs delivered for the first time since my car battery died and if this is good I may never go to a store again.
strong Jacob's Ladder vibes here
is this one where you guys have your own version or are you getting the US one?
Beach bod 2021, here I come
if i could get fresh produce that isn't all bruised and wilted and meat that's not six hours from the expiration date because the shoppers don't give a fuck and just grab whatever, it would be perfect
We're getting the US one
Yeah, produce is probably what will keep me from doing this consistently.
I'm testing the waters here to see what I get.
It's the most American thing I've ever experienced so I'm 60% sure it's not a localised version
nice
i was surprised by how good it is
Also are you playing easy/easy difficulty? Highly recommend for starting out
Although I assume it started as an adaptation of Are You Being Served

I have no idea how it captures the constant feeling I have when I'm in America. Or what that feeling is.
This game looks really good guys. Like, I'm just riding in cars not skipping anything looking at the scenery it looks so good.
Very glad I waited until I could play it on Ultra / RTX / DLSS across the board.
Everyone, Eddy. Everyone.
Also, yes.
On my second start I ran headlong into an old graveyard.

What should I try for my third start?
It's because this is constantly bubbling under the surface?

socrates doesn't really need any more bonuses though, wasn't he a hoplite of some note. and plato was a champion wrestler
You mean makes new beaches.
Spears give a +20% accuracy bonus on their attacks, but do less damage. They're extremely good for early characters. Swords also give an accuracy bonus, though not as much.
Staff slings are a great ranged option because they don't use up ammo, and they can fire twice if they don't move
Shields are hugely valuable. Even basic shields decrease hit percentages by 10 or 15%, and the shield wall ability increases that even more.
Behind a line of shield guys, you want polearm users who can attack two rows and apply more damage to enemies without exposing themselves.
In terms of general battle tactics: human enemies mostly follow the same rules as you, in terms of action points and fatigue, and you can exploit this. If they have to move one or two spaces, they can only attack once. If they have to move 3 or 4, they won't get an attack. Great weapons and polearms can only attack after moving 0 or 1 space. If you can draw your enemy to you, you can spend all your AP on attacks.
Focus fire on enemies. Damaged enemies don't lose effectiveness unless they suffer a wound, so they're still a threat until they're down.
Don't get flanked. It's better to spend a turn taking a defensive position and saving the fatigue (or using shield wall, if you're fresh) than over-extending and leaving someone vulnerable. Getting surrounded gives enemies accuracy bonuses AND damages your morale. Hold a line. If you have spear users setting up a spear wall (auto attack when enemies get into range, and push them out on hit), that line can be very firm.
Concrete pebble beaches.
Kant beats you over the head with a treatise on moral relativism the size of a Buick
so that should be
just grand
Sometimes one or two will live long enough to be useful
Idk if he was particularly distinguished for his martial performance; I thought it was more that as an adult male aristocrat he served in war
I do remember reading that he fought in an important and bloody battle (maybe ending in a route?)
Kinda odd that afaik it really doesn't come up in his dialogues
I don't know how much ice melt I'm going to need, but I have 4 containers I'm going to use.
