It always amuses me how threatened so many twitch streamers are that some women are making money using their sexuality. I mean fucking twitch even made it its own category now!
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
Similar to Tycho, twitch doesn't really show me these streams; all I see is people playing Mario, or Age of Empires. I have seen a few people complaining about it though! I think their main issue was that it was a double standard; twitch's terms explicitly prohibit all "sexually suggestive" content, with a long detailed list of what you are and are not allowed to do and wear. (Cleavage is fine, but no underbust! Streamers must have opaque coverings from their hips to the bottom of the pelvis and buttocks! Cameras must not focus on breasts, buttocks or pelvis, and poses that highlight these areas are banned! Naked breasts are only permitted if you are breastfeeding a child on stream! https://www.twitch.tv/p/en/legal/community-guidelines/sexualcontent/ ) A lot of the hot tub streams openly flaunt their disregard of the rules, though, wearing thongs, leaning over to let the camera linger on their cleavage, changing bikinis for bits... And twitch often turns a blind eye. Really, if they want to allow this content on the service I don't see why they shouldn't; they just need to update the rules to be more permissive.
Eh the hypocrisy argument always feels a little silly considering how violent games are and no one ever cares about that, but some ladies show their titties and god damn where is the morality?

There are more than enough cam sites people can go to if they want to see that stuff, I don't think Twitch wants to be associated with that. It is funny to me though, if you scroll through active streams there are always a few with a lot of viewer with a lot of cleavage present and the streamer has the personality of a fish. The chats are always very thirsty. But clearly, they're there to watch the game they are playing and their interesting commentary...
So, watching someone stream while they're in a hot tub is a thing now?
Replace hot tub with inflatable pool, and apparently, yes.
Twitch is in an odd place right now. Do they nurse the remaining embers of the early internet First Flame, or quash the weirdness and bring on the Age of Dark like the joyless, hollowed YouTube?
Also, unlike PHub, LonelyFans is positioned to, and to some extent actually does, snare creators of nearly-mainstream content. So I would imagine their presence is felt at meetings about what constitutes appropriate content.

Twitch has had so many garbage people on the platform who either left voluntarily or who were head hunted to other platforms, but that sexy ladies in water threatens the paradigm is amusing.
Like that people take it upon themselves to watch hours of these ladies to watch for TOS violations just makes me sad. Just beat off and move on boys.

The American Puritaliban are always on the lookout to make a bust. To the degree where any woman who doesn't wear a turtleneck sweater in July gets comments about how they are dressing That Way just to get viewers on their vlog/stream/whatever. Yeah, it's a thing some people do, but it's also called "living your life."

Its weird that male streamers tend to think ladies only get viewers based on their looks but never seem to believe that they themselves got viewers based on looking like their audience.

Just think, someday future Presidential candidates will probably have hot tub bikini videos that will be dug up by the opposition to try to take them down. Or maybe the board of some giant company will come across them while reviewing a future CEO candidate.
Long after these women have outgrown the desire (or the ability) to flaunt the goods, it could still come back to haunt them. I'm not even judging here. I'm just saying I'm glad that the internet was barely a thing and social media was non-existent when I was young and foolish:

Or maybe later people won't give a fuck a woman dressed sexy to make money and we can stop acting like its a shocking thing for someone to have done. Its legal, its safe, and both sides get something they want whats the fucking problem?

I thought the problem was that the Twitch audience is 12, and they're basically doing PG13 rated cam shows to get them to steal their parent's credit card?

Yeah, I doubt that will happen. People love to act like Puritans when it comes to this stuff. Is it silly and sometimes hypocritical? Absolutely. But I would say that we are actually getting FURTHER away from that happening when you consider all the stupid shit that people get themselves in trouble for online these days. We basically have the virtual version of the stocks in the town square now for anyone who steps out of line in the eyes of the online mob.
Besides, I think in some cases the person who actually filmed the hot tub stream would wish they hadn't when they have the chance down the road to look back on it. Do you not have anything you did in the past that you just internally cringe whenever you look back on it? I have things like that and it's not like other people are reminding me of it or judging me for it, it's just things from the past that will occasionally pass unwanted through my memory and every time those memories makes me shudder.
