I've got a friend who's asked for my help identifying an NES game, and I'm stumped.
He says, "the basic premise was it was an arcade port. Near as I can remember, it was a "3-D," in so much as the playing field of TMNT II was "3-D," and you started off as a pair of robot legs. You could gain power ups to complete the robot by finding the torso."
It sounds kind of familiar somehow, but Google is failing me big-time (shocker).
He also said it might have been an Irem game, but none of their NES games I looked at came anywhere close.
