this presentation continues to feel... kinda sloppy
Legend of Wright appeared to show a trailer that was originally from 2019, complete with "coming in 2020" endcard.
Whatever computer was streaming left their steam notifications on for the first ten minutes or so
There was also the top-down shooter with Foxes (Fox Tree?) where the trailer was very obviously zoomed in.
Also, nothing to do with the presentation itself, but there was one really terrible trailer in there, I think it was for a game called Industria. The developer narrates the whole thing, says it's inspired by Half-Life and Bioshock and David Lynch, but what's actually shown on screen is completely bog-standard shooter stuff at a terrible frame rate. A dog-like enemy shows up and the developer tells us they hunt in packs; a machine-gun wielding enemy shows up and the developer tells us they attack from range; and the developer wants to show us new environments, so they show us an abandoned apartment complex.
Usually I like to give a bit of a leeway to indie devs and their trailers, since they slap them together themselves instead of having a Hollywood trailer house do it, but that trailer/showcase was just terrible. Reminded me of one of the times they showed Godfall where the developers narrated such useful things as "if you press the attack button multiple times in a row, you perform a combo".

yeah the first year of Guerilla Collective was also all over the place in terms of editing, but it was hastily thrown together after Covid canceled everything, so they got some slack
that they followed it up with an even sloppier presentation this year is just kinda strange, and it seems like this was pre-recorded but they left in things like the host mispronouncing names and asking questions to people who can't hear him
Survival Quiz CITY is a multiplayer Survival Quiz Action game where only your smarts and skills will help you survive! Players answer questions and divide into two groups: winners with correct answers and losers with incorrect answers! Fight to win each round and survive to become the winner!
■ Survival
- This world is full of dangers such as food shortages, harsh weather, and illegal poachers. You must be prepared to do anything if you want to survive. You may even need to consume Pals sometimes...
■ Building
- Do you want to build a pyramid? You can have a large number of Pals work on the construction. Don't worry; labor laws won't be applied to Pals.
■ Factory and Automation
- It is essential for automation to let Pals do the manual work. Build a factory and place Pals in it. They will work forever as long as they're fed until the end of their lifetime.
■ Dungeon Exploration
- With Pals, you'll be safe in dangerous areas. If you are in danger, you use Pals to cover your escape! They'll give their lives to protect you.
■ Poaching and Crime
- Endangered species Pals live in the hunting prohibited area. If you sneak in and catch them, you'll get tons of money! It's only illegal if you get caught.
Over on the XboxEra podcast Jeff Grubb says he has heard that Scarlett Nexus is a gamepass day one title
So presumably that’s a an E3 announcement also that’s a probably a great get for both KoeiTecmo and Microsoft since those weird B tier Japanese games dont typically sell well on Xbox

2021 is a reasonable time to show a trailer for a 2022 game though there's certainly no need for them to do it around e3 time, but I'd probably expect that in september or something
I don't need a lot to release this year between Ratchet and Clank 2, The World Ends With You Neo, Tales of Arise, and now this Crimson something JRPG that's come out of nowhere? Not to mention FFXIV expansion dropping just before the holidays.

Expectations for next year are always nice though
Yea this year is already honestly, pretty damn jam packed!(especially if you are into the weeb games)
And that's before we get whatever are the remaining holiday season announcements.
Like if not a single other game was announced right now I would not have a single break in new game launches to play all the way through the end of the year.
And I'm sure there's at least something else lined up for the holiday season.

I can't tell if you guys are all calling it Balan WonderLAND on purpose or not. As a reminder, one of the ten thousand bad decisions made on the game was to call it WonderWORLD instead of Wonderland.

I'm morbidly curious about that Borderlands spinoff, the moment-to-moment gameplay and RPG mechanics of BL3 were vastly improved over the other games, if they can marry that to writing and environments that don't make me quit playing then I might be in.

I feel like it would make more sense if, instead of guns, you had your pals viciously maim your opponents.

This game is some nonsense lol
Sony stopped doing e3 back in 2019
That was E3 2018.
E3 2019 was a Sony no-show
E3 2020 didn't happen
Trifox and Industria are definitely on my list
Ugh, that’s just organizing body shaming.
they also got god of war 5 and gran turismo 7 on the horizon
