not to mention that the game wasn't released for review until after it had already hit the shelves, that's never a good sign

Yeah I have no experience with the IP so I'm just going on if it's a good game. And multiplayer only isn't that much of a problem. Hasn't there been plenty of multiplayer only games? And after I beat the 10 hour Gears of War or Halo campaign I just play online for 10x longer than that anyway.

i don't have a lot of time to play games, and my free time is at weird hours so i don't really get a chance to play games with pals. which means playing against random 13 year old xbox live screaming dipshits who sit and play for hours a day

which means that i die in the first 30 seconds of the round and get to sit around for ten minutes until the round ends then get another 30 seconds in

woo that's worth $60

and i know i'm not the only guy like that

gimme some kind of single player campaign, or hell even bot matches, or splitscreen or fuckin' something

The game is a big "Fuck you" to the player base in every possible way.

I'm sure you'll be able to download new maps though. For a fee.

The first two servers always seem to be populated during the week. On the weekend, it will maybe get to the third server. No, there aren't as many people on as the PC/PS2 version, since that version has a much larger install base. I actually play with friends only, so I don't really run into a problem with finding a game. If Sega would open up all the platforms that would really help, but I guess there are some issues with that they can't resolve.

crackdown is okay. I mostly played it to collect all the agility orbs so i could jump really high.

I guess my dream of the Genesis Shadowrun game being updated with a 3rd person shooter type graphical update (not too actiony though), much deeper character optimization, more runs that are constantly updated, and a deeper storyline is too much to ask for. Keep the 2nd edition rules (wireless access? Psh), the open-endedness, the atmosphere, the seattle/washington state locale, update the music a bit, and it would definitely have a single player mode. I think I could die happy after playing that game.

I kind of want a good RPG for the 360, or an adventure game, something different from the FPS crowd which is not much different from what you get on the PC.

Catan is awesome though, everyone get it.

And play on Live.

The Shadowrun game is probably one of the best multiplayer games I have ever, ever played.

I am a fucking beast on Extraction. Elf, wired reflexes, teleport, and I will capture that flag in under fifteen goddamn seconds.

Also, the manual was much more detailed and humorous than I expected it to be, which was nice.
