Though, I don't have any idea who The Leader is (I guess a Hulk variant?) but that picture sure does look like Sinestro. Or Hector Hammond.
Maybe there's just too many villains with huge foreheads.
Also, apparently in my brain Sinestro is green, when he has very specifically never been green.
So...
It's a classic depiction of good versus evil. Notice the square jaw of Slayer, common in most comic heroes. And the slightly disproportionate size of Jaguaro's head to his body. This again is common, but only in villains.
Charts like that are usually made by fans so they can speculate about what movies Marvel can and can't make.
Specifically, this is a newer version of a chart showing all the confusing crossovers between rights back when it was confusing. Now that rights have reverted and Marvel bought the Fox properties, it's way less interesting.

Holy crap I had completely forgotten that part entirely.
EDIT: Well bring him back because Tim Blake Nelson is fantastic, and more of him in the MCU please!
Yeah, I finally saw that movie for the first time earlier this year. I'm really glad I watched through Earth's Mightiest Heroes because it was basically a "here's literally every important Marvel character without worrying about other studios owning shit" so I got to know a lot of the franchises I was less familiar with. The Leader was in it a decent amount - basically a super genius guy with a giant head. So I was able to recognize what they were trying to do at the end of the 2008 Hulk (I assume they were planning more Hulk movies so they were setting him up, but it didn't do so well). I would definitely love to see a payoff to that setup. Maybe we'll get something in She-Hulk? I'd love to see an out-of-the-blue surprise like that.
As an example of the Leader though, one of the stories in EMH involving him was a plot to basically expose the entire planet to gamma radiation and create a "Gamma World" where literally everyone was a Hulk.
(that cartoon also really makes me want MODOK in the MCU, outside of just doing that weird robot chicken show)
But I wanna seee iitttttttttttt (also interesting that James Spader is NOT back as Ultron again here.. maybe he doesn't want to do it anymore ala Hugo Weaving)
Avengers: Quantum Encounter will be an integral part of Disney’s new Wish cruise ship. The show will take place during dinner and will include interactable sections for diners, as well as hundreds of screens and specially designed effects to enhance the show and the dining experience. The show also includes a full CGI re-creation of the Wish’s upper decks, which is where most of the battles in it take place.

Welp, found the first MCU thing I'm not going to watch. Bravo Disney, bravo indeed.
All I'm saying is, there better be some bootleg footage or something :P I'd like to see it but there's no way in hell I'm going on one of those dumb cruise ships.
As part of Disney+ Day, Marvel revealed that they are bringing back X-Men: The Animated Series for “all-new episodes” in 2023. The new series is called X-Men ’97, in honor of the fact that the show is picking up right where the old show left off, and continuing the original series’ storylines and characters.
According to TheWrap, the new show will have strong ties to the original, with X-Men: The Anmiated Series writers Eric and Julia Lewald and director Larry Houston all returning to consult on X-Men ’97. Returning voice actors include Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Lenore Zann (Rogue), George Buza (Beast), Chris Potter (Gambit), Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm), Alyson Court (Jubilee).
Ok, they got the best voice actors back, I am pumped (I don't care so much if Cyclops or whatever are different... Wolverine and Rogue are important tho!)

Now I really, really want them to do 90s Spider-man too. They just left MJ floating in the middle of, I dunno, the mirror dimension? They seriously ended that show without saving her!
I can't even process this shit, I loved that cartoon so goddamn badly. I like to show this scene to my friends now and then when I tell them how much I loved the fight scenes:
Just all the goddamn shit going on in the background, I love so much, it's goddamn chaos and it's perfect. It looked like the comics and felt like the comics, even if they did take a bunch of liberties to make it a kids show.
Teaser shows her walking on air via some energy steps she probably creates, and there's an image from merchadising that shows her having a giant energy fist.

I don’t mind the energy constructs as a replacement for her embiggening powers. I’m sure we’re getting there technology wise, but stretching powers have always seemed to look pretty bad in live action.
The whole size-changing thing in the comics works there because, despite dealing with serious stuff, the Ms Marvel comics are, stylistically, pretty comical. I think it'd be really difficult to make the big, bendy-arm cartoon fist thing work in live-action. A big, cartoony energy fist on occasion? Sure. But a human who turns into a cartoon character as their power is just going to look goofy. Look at Elongated Man from the Flash series. Any time he does anything besides stretching it looks stupid and even the stretching is fairly goofy.
I've wondered since first hearing they were changing up Ms Marvel's powers whether the reason we haven't gotten a Fantastic Four movie yet is because of how challenging it is to make a live-action Reed Richards whom people can take seriously while he's stretching like a cartoon character without going over the line and making it grotesque.

I doubt that's the main reason. I imagine it hasn't come because the last two attempts were god-awful (especially the last one). There is supposed to be a F4 movie actually made by Marvel Studios at some point though.
I imagine if you put the CGI budget into it you can make the stretching look good but like, for a TV series maybe they're less inclined to spend the money. And thus you get cheap SFX that look bad.

Energy constructs as a power ties her to Captain Marvel too. I can get on board with it, probably being too much of a puritan because of how much I like the comic and not wanting to change too much.
There's uh, another rumour about her new power set that's kinda... hrm...
I've seen it getting described as "genie" powers that originate from her gold bangles. So she can just do magic, wish for whatever to change the laws of physics, her grandmother's heirloom is a mcguffin now.
On paper, that sounds pretty fucking bad and vaguely racist! Hoping it's not the case but like... kinda shaping up to be?

Energy powers from the bracelets seems fine, considering her actual origin wouldn't make any sense in the current MCU and "magic bracelets" seems to be the theme of the current MCU phase.
I don't think they're dumb enough to go racist with "genie powers". And green lantern-style energy constructs are pretty far from "wishing to change the laws of physics", but I guess we'll see.
I assume the teleporting dog from the later comics will not be making an appearance. Wonder if they'll bring in whatsisname, the red-scarf-wearing ninja-esque dude romantic interest.

Random thought about X-men '97... are they going to treat this as if it was still being made in the 90s? Like, are they going to be taking storylines from 90s-00s era comics mostly? (that is, putting restraints on themselves to keep it authentic) Or are more modern story elements/characters on the table? I'm sure all of these characters have changed a TON in the comics since the versions this show was based on. So I'm really curious how they are going to treat all that. I almost think it would be cool if they took something of a hybrid approach where the characters were still based off the old 90s versions of themselves, but then you have about 20 years of X-men comics (and more if there are any good storylines they just never covered in the original show) to draw stories from and sort of slot those in naturally until it's kinda caught up to modern X-men. But I dunno.
Also curious about which characters they have the rights to. I forget how often X-men did cameos (I'm gonna have to re-watch the whole series), but going back to re-watch Spider-man not long ago, that show had Daredevil, Punisher, Blade, Dr. Strange, Iron Man, Captain America, Fantastic Four, X-men (of course ) and probably a bunch more I'm forgetting off hand. I just wonder if there's anyone they might *want* to use but don't have the rights to use (though theoretically most of the rights issues should be exclusive to movies? Like, obviously Marvel is making a new Spider-man show on Disney+ when Sony owns all the Spidey stuff).

It'll help in the case of Reed that he's one of 4 people who get wild powers, so you don't have to focus on him as much as if he was a solo hero. Also, most of the time stretching is show to be secondary to Reed's real power of having the biggest brain in the world.
It's kinda weird how most of the supersmart Marvel characters (Doom, Richards, Stark, Parker, Beast, T'challa) don't have their intellect come from super powers.

If you're referring to Kristin Stewart, I deadass would be down for them to cast her as Nocturna.

I think this one was announced but I never hear it talked about:
(edit: Oh maybe this is indeed new. She's going to be in Hawkeye, that's probably what I was thinking of)
Edit: Apparently they are still posting
They are also posting logos for like every series they've announced pretty much (not re-posting the known stuff to avoid clutter )
Yeah, we need to pump the damn brakes here. Like... new episodes? In the continuity of that specific series?

I can kinda understand it in a "dumb media executive decision" way but I'm not happy with it.
Specially since I'm sure it'll trickle down to the comic character.
