6000 steps is roughly 4,8 kilometers which is what I walked to school and back in elementary school. In the snow, uphill both ways. Gabe just needs to git gud.

Where does the watch go after the first frame?

Tycho already stole it. I know the rules are he has to beat Gabe up first but in this case Gabe looked beat up enough already.

For people who live in Liberia or Myanmar, 4.8km is 2.8 miles. Which is walkable in an hour.

It goes into the pedants' dimension.

I wonder if the device reads "6000m" rather than "6000mi"

The Tycho method is also a form of weight loss, technically

It's not strictly speaking a dimension

You don't realize how long I struggled trying to decide on pendants' dimension, pedants dimension, Pedants' Dimension, etc.

Appreciate the open nature of this punchline. Yes, it is logical to assume that Gabe’s legs will be hacked to match a child’s gait in a grisly, amateurish fashion. But perhaps his hand, bracelet attached, may be hacked off and given to a child to build points, the bloody appendage a direct emphasis upon the deadly seriousness of the task laid before the youth.

Or perhaps Tycho suggests a dark bargain of sorts: finding a child desperate to ride the big kid rides at the local theme, and Tycho acting as a surgeon/butcher to accommodate the swapping of lower appendages. Will the survivors enjoy the fruit of this sin against nature?

To take it one step further: maybe Tycho tires of teaching Gabe the fruitless folly of exercise, and the rusty hacksaw is a final lesson.

Okay, six kilometers is more of a challenge in an hour, but that just takes it from the realm of "brisk Sunday walk" to the realm of exercise.
