It's not new, at least. Some random doctor in Germany said a thing, and it got latched onto and never let go, no matter how much other stuff has been said by plenty of people as much or more qualified in medicine. It's cherry picking, only the cherries are made out of poison.
Someone claimed, in a now deleted tweet, that someone they knew had their testicles swell up and became sterile after getting the vaccine, so their fiance dumped them. It was later claimed by authorities that they couldn't find any evidence of any case with those symptoms in the right location/time frame, regardless of vaccine status.
But apparently a lot of people think that tweet is trustworthy and literally hundreds of thousands of tweets from respected medical authorities saying the vaccine is safe and effective are not trustworthy, so now people are refusing to get vaccinated because of it.
I think your math is off. It'd be that if the pandemic started two weeks ago.
And there's a lot more than one trusted medical authority.
I have so many questions right now.
Maybe Mr. Period and his friends could answer some of them.

Anyway, it wasn't a serious fault or anything. It was just a joke based on the constant pettiness of pointing out minor perceived "errors" (really, he was just going for it being in shadow) in Mike's art.

That tweet will, almost certainly, result in thousands of people not getting the vaccine, statistically some of whom will die from Covid that would not if they had gotten the vaccine.
When you're doing something that will likely kill people you better have a damn good reason if you don't want to be called out for it. Such as actually having solid evidence it can cause impotence instead of "I heard it happened to a friend of a friend" with no actual verification.
Anyone refusing the vaccine at this point due to anything other than legitimate medical I Cannot Get This Per Real Doctors, is an idiot.
