Phone upgrade from Samsung Galaxy S7?

I've used a Samsung Galaxy S7 for quite a few years, I really liked the physical size and the excellent camera. I like Android, not interested in Apple (have used one for about 6 months). Can anyone suggest a comparable modern phone? I've done some Googling but nothing beats feedback from this community.

It works pretty good. It is more of a mid range smartphone. Cheaper than the S20FE.
My carrier was going to suspend my service if I did not upgrade to a 5G phone.
The phone bombed 3DMark. It does not have a high end GPU. It bombed the Wildlife benchmark but did fairly well on the Slingshot benchmark.
It does load faster than the S7 and I have seen no hiccups in performance. It runs Mario Run great. So, it should work fine for most games.
I still need to carry over my SD card. I just copied everything and the contents of the SD card into the built in memory.
