    I think he played someone else that was basically just Zod but with a different name. Like how Superman the Animated Series used Jax-Ur or whoever but everyone just thought it was Zod.

    Anyways, my answer is (assuming no plot armor or Goku interference) that Zod wins prior to Vegeta obtaining Super Saiyan Blue, but Vegeta surpasses him then.

    Vegeta can win any fight against any sub-boss character (Dodoria, Zarbon, Pui Pui, Toppo etc.) and will win against boss characters if he's then allowed to trip over his own dick at the last second (allowing semi-perfect Cell to transform into Perfect Cell, allowing Golden Frieza to destroy the planet etc.)
