I recently bought a Naruto Headband from Hot Topic (Yes, I know the American model is crap but I lack the ability to import at the moment...) and I was wearing it around the mall for fun.
I come home and my Mom made one of the most ignorant comments I have ever heard.
"If you want to walk around getting strange looks from that headband, maybe you should just become a Goth..."
My first response was what the hell, but I decided to get some feedback. My question is this;
"What is your stance on wearing cosplay items, such as the headband, in public?"
I'm probably going to wear the headband in public regardless, but the validity of my Mom's comment sparked some curiosity. Any "constructive" feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.
Honestly, if I saw you walking anywhere in public with that on, I would at least do a double take while thinking to myself "Jesus Christ, what the hell"
but wren anyone who dresses in black is a goth obviously
even if they don't actually dress like a goth or listen to goth music or hang out with goths or engage in goth activities (hanging out at goth clubs, tweaking, etc)
reminds of this guy who would walk around with a cape, plastic sword and some sort of black wide brimmed hat. then to complete the outfit he'd wear some generic black t-shirt and blue jeans.
I suggest adding cat ears, maybe a tail, and an oversized silk screen shirt plastered with japanese characters or a samurai to complete that ensemble. The ladies, they cannot resist.

I wonder how often he got beat up
obviously never, he was clearly a skilled swordsman
Honestly? Lose it. Yes, I know you like Naurto, but come on. It would be ok if you got a decent Naurto T-Shirt or messenge bag, but sorry that is ridiculus. Maybe if you want to wear it, grow your hair so that it covers your face, wear it and then part your hair.
Besides from that, your face isn't really for the Naurto look. Sorry to say that.

I want to see someone who wears tight jeans and pops their collar while walking around wearing a Naruto headband.
My head might explode
But it would be worth it.

Then they would have cocks on their forehead.
But so would you.

Keep the headband. You're the epitome of manliness with it on.
never wear that.
ever.
Actually, wear it as much of the time as you can.
Indeed
