"Rating" column?

So I just noticed the "Rating" column,
bwuhix0.jpg
and it's appears to just be a header with no information.

Is it just a remnant from the previous forum layout?

    It's a remnant from the vBulletin default, where you can rate threads and sort by rating and such. I've never seen it used, or at least used well, even on other vBulletin forums.

    Right after the new forums went up, there was a thread rating thing in threads. I only recall it being used in a few SE++ threads, about as seriously as you'd expect. Everyone else either didn't notice it, or wisely ignored it.

    A thread needs a minimum number of votes to be shown. Everybody go vote in the Dwarf Fortress thread and watch the stars magically appear!

    I've just noticed that the stars rating are nudging up the lettering of thread titles, and they seems out of alignment, see G&T.

    On a side note, I noticed that the 'first post' column heading is all lower case instead of the uppercase 'F' and 'P'.
