[SOLVED] - A Random Cingular Wireless Question.

Seeing as it's so hard to go to a Cingular store and a lot of times I've had shitty experiences with Cingular, I figured someone here may work for Cingular or know the answer to this question.

Can anyone tell me as to whether or not Cingular users can talk to other Cingular users for free, as in it doesn't use up any minutes on a monthly plan? I know this used to be a feature, but since they've recently merged with AT&T and whatnot I wasn't sure if this had changed. I also believe this was a universal feature regardless of your Cingular plan.

I can't find any info on their website and a Google search was fruitless.

I believe this is still the case. We recently switched from Cingular to Verizon for the same reason (everyone we know is on Verizon).

Yes, Cingular to Cingular is definitely free, even for their pay as you go folk.

I know this is solved but I have a quick note to fix.

For prepaid, there are two options you can pick: 10 cents a minute, dollar a day, and all calls to Cingular customers are free. The other option, the flat rate 25 cents a minute, does not offer free mobile to mobile.

Just thought I'd clear that up. I used to work at Cingular as of a couple of weeks ago.

My friend has the first option, he's usually hesitant to break the dollar a day deal, but when he does, goddamn, you can't get him to stop taking/making calls to Cingular folk, haha
