There were multiple theoretical rosters, based on datamining. What models look like they've been worked on, what subtitle text was added, etc
One had the last two characters as That Man and Jam
One had the last two as Baiken and Slayer
Another noticed that some code for Sin might have been added in the Baiken patch
None had Testament
Except Baiken maybe?
A lot of people speculated that the last two characters would be "new" characters that weren't in the story mode, as the release cadence for the first three characters was a LOT faster than the release for the last two, implying that the first three would have some work already done due to the story mode.
Funnily enough, Testament actually DOES briefly appear in the credits of the story mode - they're barely visible just off to the side of a shot with Ky, Dizzy, Sin, Elphelt, and Ramlethal, secretly watching over Dizzy. All you could really tell about them is that they were wearing a top hat tho.
Thinking about grabbing Tunic in the mean time. Need a bit of a mental cleanser after Elden.

I think honestly all the characters are better here than their MCU counterparts
They feel more like a cohesive family mixed with just enough It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia to feel real, y'know
