On April 1st we will be airing the entirety of the upcoming theatrical Aqua Teen Hunger Force film during our typical broadcast time, and completely unedited.
Proceeds to air the movie in a tiny thumbnail in the corner of the screen while airing their regular programming.
Some of the shows were alright, but the theme of the block just kinda irritates me.

HA HA
Dangly parts.
Humor can be dissected as a frog can, but dies in the process.
My voice is actually so fucked up I can't do my Nathan explosion impression correctly
You'd think it would be easier but it's actually going too deep? Not enough resonance in my sinuses

I am convinced that a significant chunk of Adult Swim programming was based on a dare to create a show with the least amount of effort possible that still made it to air.
Edit: The number of times my wife and I have said "I hope you can see this because I'm doing it as hard as I can" in every conceivable context is immeasurable, top 5 TV line of All Time (for me).
Double edit: Ok watching that made me realize that the percentage of things that I say that can be directly traced back to Aqua Teen Hunger Force is maybe a little high.

100%, though I think making stuff under those kinds of constraints led to a great deal of excellent creativity, along with admittedly many duds.

The fact that a bunch of the AS shows started as a weird shitpost and turned into a very high effort incredible piece of fiction is the best thing about the block. I recently watched Morel Orel again and it is a treat and also I wanna die.

Yah, "We were just fucking around with old cartoons/formats and then realized we actually had some shit to say" is pretty much why I love/loved adult swim.
"Go down, kick ass, and set yourselves up as gods, that's our Prime Directive!"

Adult Swim was kinda formative for me. It introduced me to Cowboy Bebop and so many other anime and greatly influenced my sense of humor.
And those bumps. Those bumps wound up quietly shaping my musical taste over time.
If you're craving more of the vibes from the Adult Swim bump music, I can't recommend 2 Mello's Midnight Broadcast albums enough.

Oh, whew. That's good, I can keep saying "I said it's dodgeball time, bitch" comfortably.
