The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I think you can click the eyeball to peek into the lobby, and the person whose action it's waiting on will be displayed with a green background instead of black. So you don't have to actually load the game to check.
Lannister still has the weakest cards in the game, but starts in a much better position and no longer has overpowered Greyjoy poised to eliminate them by round 2.
Baratheon sort of takes over as the direct threat to them, but they're not nearly as overpowered as Greyjoy and are not in a position to cripple them.
Stark no longer has all the time in the world to consolidate everything.
Eyrie is odd. A turtle faction that mostly focuses on gathering power. Although, a big part of their defense is that their lands just aren't worth much to bother taking . A grand total of ONE starting muster points!
Also notice how all garrisons are no longer equal. King's Landing and The Eyrie get 5 and 6.

The Brayster - I don't really want to spend all game fighting over King's Landing, so I'm not going to sit there and turtle while you muster forces. There are lots of ways for this game to play out that isn't us stabbing each other until Stark or Arryn wins. Up to you.
Pray tell me what you would have in mind, Lannister. From where I am sitting, we are at direct odds. The success and failure of either of our houses rests upon whomever controls Kings Landing.
Weird that The Arbor and Redwyne Straights remain in play. I can't imagine anyone ever bothering to move there, let alone set up a chain of ships to transport any units there.

Brave, handsome, clever, daring BrMody of The Eyrie marches on Crackclaw Point for a +1 advantage. Lannister blows Tywin, but BrMody cleverly plays his 0 card for +3 power and retreating with the loot!

I’m afraid I have messed up. I’m travelling for a week and change and the laptop I would have brought just died so with the timers how they are I’m sorry to say I don’t think I’ll be able to finish

Yeah it's very much a, uh, 'please check in at least once a day' kind of thing, just to see if it's maybe your turn yet

So the setup is interesting.

I probably should have negotiated before torching that Shipbreaker support order. I'm too eager to keep the game moving after the delayed start!
Considering Lannister is the one in the best position sitting on that King's Landing VP, I'll probably not torch Baratheon support there anymore.
I believe it's for one of the secret objectives
Word of warning. The 7 day timer is total clock time for the whole game until you're replaced by a bot, not per action.
Which is another incredibly stupid feature. Why set a limit at all if the players don't want it? Or at least a super long option like 30+ days?
We're 17 hours away from losing @jdarksun
