Twitter aggregator for what's hot among followed accounts

I used to use the Twitter aggregator Nuzzel for work. Nuzzel made lists based on what accounts I follow and what's hot among them right now, which was a pretty useful function. Then Twitter bought up Nuzzel and put out out to pasture, and since we've not found anything that has the same (or reasonably similar) functionality.
Having said that, though, I'm not a Twitter pro, and accordingly I don't really know what aggregators are out there and what they do. We've been using Homebrew for a while, but it simply didn't prove particularly useful.
So: can anyone recommend a good alternative for Nuzzel, ideally one that is free or cheap? And what are good Twitter aggregators that people can recommend that might have different but useful functionality?
